Cans For Kids

Cans for Kids is an initiative led by our Rotary club dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children in need. Through this program, we collect aluminum cans, glass bottles, and other plastic bottles for recycling, turning them into valuable resources to support various projects benefiting children. Join us in making a positive impact through Cans for Kids.

Community Grant Projects

Rotary Club of Decatur County has a long history of giving back to our community through our various grant projects. Our impact has been felt throughout the county, including the upgrading of the local theater, installing new bleachers and picnic tables at the Leon Little League fields, adding a bike shelter in Lamoni and a gazebo and benches at Little River Lake. We are committed to continuing our efforts to make our community a great place to live.
Renovation of 4-H Building to Decatur County Events Center

Thanks to the generous support of our donor, we are thrilled to have spearheaded the major renovation of the 4H building at the fairgrounds. The project included a new roof, complete remodeling of the interior, and new furniture, all aimed at improving the experience of those who use the building for years to come.
Warm Coats for Kids

Through our fundraisers, Rotary Club of Decatur County is able to provide warm coats for kids. Each October, needs are determined for children from Early Head Start through High School. Warm coats are provided at no charge to ensure every child is protected from the harsh elements.
